SUMMARY:Wildness Tempered by Love
DESCRIPTION:An Exhibition of paintings by Abigail Robinson and Kate Coombs\, expressing a time spent together at Blackpool sands. It explores in colour and ink\, feelings in response to the wild sea and the edge of the land. It records a time when the cancer diagnosis became real for Abigail and she struggled with all the major decisions she had to face.  It will also be a launch of ‘The Lightening Tree’  Poetry by Abigail Robinson. \n‘Art days with Abigail are a shared experience of soulful conversation\, painting and tea!  Returning home to ourselves supported by the vastness and drama of the sea and the containment of the land and the expressions of our hearts in the connection with each other.’  Kate \n‘Images are a documentation of sacred relationship. A dancing conversation with the freedom of the sea. Created within a soul space.  An alchemical vessel holding the liminal. Out of every day time\, yet coexisting with both light and profound human relating. That which is wild\, tempered by love. \nPoetry is an attempt to find the wholeness that exists beyond wounding and death. The living being that is sustained in spite of\, and grown around\, violation. The lightening tree is both a reality and a metaphor for where the world of the living meets the world of the dead.’  Abigail \n

SUMMARY:An evening of True Storytelling on the theme of "How We First Met"
DESCRIPTION:Do you have a story to tell about how you first met your partner\, lover\, or close friend? Some meetings seemed destined to happen\, others happen in the most bizarre circumstances\, or in ways that we’ll always remember. \nWe’ll sit in a circle and tell our stories. True Storytelling is not about performance\, it’s about sharing our stories in community\, for inspiration\, healing and mutual understanding. It’s also fine to just sit and listen! \nThe evening will be facilitated by Leo Sofer\, co-owner of Jellyfish and a storyteller for 30 years. \nFeedback from previous participants. \n“I’ve really enjoyed both the True Storytelling evenings I’ve been to. It’s a pleasure and a privilege to be able to listen\, really listen\, to other people telling about precious moments in their lives.  And to have the chance to tell about your own experiences and memories (only if you want to)\, with others listening to you too. DESCRIPTION:OM Voice Circles invite all who feel a calling to explore their voice\, discover the power of singing with devotion and experience the uplifting\, heart opening\, transformational healing effects of mantra\, chanting and sacred sound in a safe\, supportive\, loving and expansive environment. \nThis closed group\, held by Elise in Buckfastleigh at Jellyfish Community Hub\, meet once a fortnight for a series of 6 workshop sessions\, held once a season (usually in spring\, summer and autumn). The first OM Voice Circle of each series is open as a taster (£15)\, after which the circle is closed until the next season. The circle is closed for each course after the initial taster session to invite\, enhance and preserve the intimacy and unity created when the same group of individuals gather regularly. Collectively we will dive deeply into what can be a profound\, tender and deeply healing journey. \n1ST WORKSHOP IS AN OPEN TASTER: £15 (Advance booking required). You are welcome to attend just for the first date even if you are unable to continue with the workshop series. \nThe remaining 5 dates for the series is a closed group and advance booking is required to confirm your space. \nAutumn 2018 Dates: \n18 September\, 2\, 16\, 30 October\, 13\, 27 November 2018.
