SUMMARY:Feldenkrais Weekly Awareness Through Movement
DESCRIPTION:This short course of three Somatic Movement Lessons can be taken as a block or individually.  Helpful for improved balance\, posture\, mobility\, coordination\, and developing body awareness\, they are suitable for those wishing to maintain/improved mobility\,  and offer a deep re-education of poor postural and movement habits from the inside out. \nCome join us if you are comfy with working laying on the floor.  You need to bring a mat and a blanket\, and wear loose layered warm clothing.  Those with chronic persistent pain are recommended to take 1-1 Functional Integration prior to attending a class – if in doubt\, get in touch! \nNormally in blocks of 6-8 classes\, this block of 3 takes us over the Christmas/New Year period\, at a special price of £25 for all 3 or £12 each. \nRead more about Feldenkrais classes at www.lifeworks4.me.uk  and for bookings/payments see details below.

DESCRIPTION:Accompanied by harmonium and guitar\, we will sing Indian devotional chants based on simple mantras. These are like beautiful forms of prayer in which we invoke the qualities that are expressed in Indian deities like Shiva\, Krishna\, Durga\, Saraswati and Ganesha\, qualities that are all present within us as well and that can be brought to our awareness and celebrated singing together. No prior experience is necessary. Arrive a little earlier if you like for a cup of tea and some time to connect before we begin.
