Interacting with the world from this place can be a way to have more satisfying and rich experiences with each other and the world around us. \n\nThis month we will interweave knowledge of 3 wild plants with our bodies\, of course being February starting with our hearts ♥️. Perhaps the next time you go for a walk you will look at the plants we discuss in a new way. \n\nThe yoga is a gentle blend of mostly floor based flowing movements that strengthen and release tension\, particularly this month exploring the area of our upper spine\, chest\, arms and hands. DESCRIPTION:Accompanied by harmonium and guitar\, we will sing Indian devotional chants based on simple mantras. These are like beautiful forms of prayer in which we invoke the qualities that are expressed in Indian deities like Shiva\, Krishna\, Durga\, Saraswati and Ganesha\, qualities that are all present within us as well and that can be brought to our awareness and celebrated singing together. No prior experience is necessary. Arrive a little earlier if you like for a cup of tea and some time to connect before we begin.

DESCRIPTION:With Eliza Hope Kenyon \n\nA time to court the joystream of life with our voices\, to drop into stillness\, and to offer our prayers up. \nWe’ll begin with some gentle breathing and voice-warming practices to arrive with ourselves and with each other. Then with respect and care\, we’ll open to the healing medicine of the world’s songlines. \n\n\nAll are welcome ~ whether you consider yourself a singer or not. The chants\, mantras and songs we’ll journey with are simple and easy to pick up\, many shared in the call and response form. No technical ability is needed; we’ll just let our hearts sing. \nEliza is known as a Song Carrier of integrity and depth. She is committed to creating spaces that are both safe and alive\, where the power of chant can then lift our spirits and call us home to what matters.\n \nWords from someone who came to the January Deep Song ‘I was at your Deep Song event on Saturday….wow thank you so much\, deep medicine that touches my soul.’ \nTickets on the door: £12/ £10. \nIf you’d love to come and sing and are on a low or no income\, do be in touch.
