The King Who Became a Dog

There are moments in life when something opens up inside.
A sense of flow.
A feeling of being guided.
A glimpse of how life could be.
And then… somehow, we lose it.
We try to hold onto it, or control it, or fit it into the life we already have — and it slips away. Or we push it aside altogether, because it asks more of us than we’re ready to give.
This evening of storytelling explores that territory.
Through two original stories — one of a king who loses something essential and must find his way back to it, and one of a young woman who can hear the language of birds, only to find herself drawn into unexpected consequences. We’ll move through themes of:
1. following what feels right — and then turning away from it
2. neglecting what matters, and the slow work of remembering
3. the question of what it really means to live in alignment with what you know to be true
