Based in Buckfastleigh in Devon, The Dragon Sanctuary has been a venue for the arts since 2013

The Dragon Sanctuary is run by Leo and Sundara Sofer, who have two teenage children and live in the house next door. They bought the space in 2017, when it was called Jellyfish Arts Hub.

The Dragon Sanctuary is a space for remembering our interconnection with all life; with the divine source within us, and with each other. Through singing and storytelling, we are practising ancient ways of doing this.

The modern world seems to pull us apart. The Dragon Sanctuary is a place to come together; to become “temporary tribe” and experience something impactful and uplifting, before going our separate ways again (although you are always welcome to stay for a cup of tea afterwards!).
